Can I have multiple roles?
Each account has one primary role, but you can perform actions across roles. For example, a landlord can also be a property seeker. Contact support to change your primary role.
For Property Seekers
How does AI property search work?
Simply describe what you're looking for in natural language. Our AI (powered by Google Gemini and Groq) understands your requirements and finds matching properties. Example: "3-bedroom house near good schools under 80k per month"
How many searches can I do?
- Free plan: 2 searches per month
- Basic: 50 searches per month
- MyGF 1.3: 200 searches per month
- MyGF 3.2: Unlimited searches
What counts as a search?
Each conversation with the AI counts as one search, including follow-up questions in the same session. Browsing regular listings doesn't count.
Can I save favorite properties?
Yes! Click the heart icon on any property to save it to your favorites. Access your favorites from your dashboard.
How do I contact an agent?
Click "Contact Agent" on any property listing. Your inquiry is sent to the agent via email and in-app notification. The agent typically responds within 2-24 hours.
Is my contact information shared with agents?
Only when you choose to contact them. Agents see your name and contact info when you inquire about their property.
For Real Estate Agents
How do I add property listings?
Navigate to Dashboard → Add Property. Fill in property details, upload photos (minimum 10 recommended), and publish. Full guide →
What is lead scoring?
Automatic scoring (0-100 points) that evaluates leads based on response time, engagement, budget match, urgency, and contact quality. Leads scoring ≥60 are high-priority. Learn more →
How do automated follow-ups work?

How many listings can I add?
- Free plan: Up to 3 listings

Can I promote my listings?
Yes! Property boosting is available on MyGF 1.3 and higher. Boosted listings appear higher in search results and get more visibility.
How do I verify my agent license?
Go to Settings → Verification → Upload Documents. Upload your agent license and ID. Verification takes 24-48 hours. Verified agents get a badge on their profile.
Do I pay commission to Genesis Fortune?
No! Genesis Fortune doesn't take commission on your deals. You only pay the monthly subscription fee.
For Landlords
How do I add tenants?
Go to Tenants → Add Tenant. Fill in tenant details, lease dates, rent amount, and due date. Full guide →
How do rent reminders work?
The system automatically sends reminders to tenants at 7, 3, and 1 day before rent is due. Reminders go via email, WhatsApp, and push notifications (based on your settings). Learn more →
Can I customize rent reminder messages?
Yes! Go to Settings → Feature Flags → Rent Reminders to customize the message template while keeping required information (amount, due date, etc.).
How do tenants pay rent?
Tenants can pay via M-Pesa directly through the platform. Payments are confirmed instantly and recorded automatically.
What are financial reports?
Comprehensive reports showing income (rent payments), expenses (maintenance, repairs), cashflow, and property performance. AI analyzes the data and provides insights. Learn more →
How do I request a surveyor?
In the AI chat, simply say "I need a surveyor for my property." The system matches you with qualified surveyors based on specialization and ratings. Learn more →
Can I manage multiple properties?
Yes! Add unlimited properties on paid plans. Each property can have multiple tenants.
For Tenants
How do I know when rent is due?
You'll receive automatic reminders 7, 3, and 1 day before your rent due date via email, WhatsApp, and push notifications.
How do I pay rent?
Log in to your tenant portal, click "Pay Rent," and follow the M-Pesa payment prompts on your phone. Payment is confirmed instantly.
What if I can't pay rent on time?
Contact your landlord directly through the platform or arrange a payment plan. The system will send overdue notices, but arrangements are between you and your landlord.
How do I submit a maintenance request?
Go to Maintenance → Submit Request. Describe the issue, upload photos, set priority, and submit. Your landlord receives instant notification.
Can I see my lease agreement?
Yes! Go to My Lease to view lease start/end dates, rent amount, deposit, and landlord contact information.
For Property Sellers
What documents do I need to verify?

How long does document verification take?
Usually 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email when verification is complete.
Can I list land for sale?
Yes! Select "Land" as the property type when creating your listing. Include acreage, location, title deed status, and development potential.
How do I communicate with buyers?
Buyers contact you through the platform. You receive messages via email and in-app notifications. Respond promptly to convert inquiries.
For Surveyors
How do I get survey requests?
When property owners request surveyors through the AI chat, the system matches them with qualified surveyors. You receive notifications of matching requests.
How is matching determined?
Based on your specialization (Residential/Commercial/Land), service area, rating, and availability.
How do I build my rating?
Complete surveys professionally and on time. Clients rate you after each survey. Higher ratings lead to more requests.
Can I set different prices for different survey types?
Yes! Set separate pricing for residential, commercial, and land surveys in your profile settings.
Subscription & Billing
How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to Settings → Subscription → Upgrade Plan. Choose your plan and complete payment via M-Pesa. Upgrade is instant.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
On Free and Basic plans, feature access is blocked until you upgrade or your monthly limit resets. MyGF 1.3 and 3.2 have higher/unlimited limits.
When do usage limits reset?
Monthly on your billing date. For example, if you subscribed on the 15th, limits reset on the 15th of each month.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes! Monthly plans can be canceled anytime. Your access continues until the end of your billing period, then your account reverts to the Free plan.
Do you offer refunds?
- Monthly plans: Prorated refunds within 7 days
- Annual plans: 30-day money-back guarantee
- Free trials: Full refund if canceled before trial ends
What payment methods do you accept?

Troubleshooting
I didn't receive the verification email

I forgot my password
